knoxy26 Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 Hey, I was just wondering if anyone knows of any pedals that emulate what the waves rbass plugin does. I love it and use it on all my bass recordings. here's a link if your not familiar with the plugin https://www.waves.com/plugins/renaissance-bass Cheers Matt 1 Quote

dannybuoy Posted October 9, 2017 Posted October 9, 2017 I think the new Peavey amps have some processing along similar lines but I'm not aware of anything in a pedal. The Aphex and BBE units don't quite do the same thing, i.e. adding extra harmonics above the fundamental to trick the brain into hearing low frequencies that aren't there. Quote
knoxy26 Posted October 10, 2017 Author Posted October 10, 2017 Ah right, That's a real shame. I think someone could make a lot of money designing a pedal like the rbass vst... Perhaps using my laptop as an effects processor.... not particularly keen on this though... Quote
cheddatom Posted October 10, 2017 Posted October 10, 2017 it's a brilliant plugin! I've not managed to replicate it with pedals, would be very interested if you do! Quote
knoxy26 Posted October 13, 2017 Author Posted October 13, 2017 How about something that emulates the sub harmonics of waves loair Quote
