prowla
They are/were an interesting brand; they were contracted by Fender to make Squier instruments. They then proceeded to produce their own brand, built from the Fender plans but with upgraded components! There was a bit of a kerfuffle and lawsuitness which ensued. The ones with the Fender headstocks are the ones to look for. Prices vary a lot and I've never tried one myself.
Rich
My mate had a Fenix/Young Chang PJ 4 string. It was a fabulous bass, great build quality and sounded superb. He offered it to me for 50 quid. Like a twat, I turned it down. I cannot believe I did that. What a bellend.
Bassassin
I have a Fenix ST-20 Strat - Fender headstock, enclosed single-coil shape humbuckers, Gotoh hardware - £30 from the local car boot. I also have an 80s MIJ E-serial Squier Strat - it's a great guitar but the Fenix owns it. Anyone want to buy an MIJ Squier?
