Lots of preset sounds, so you're using what's programmed in. I have a Boss one which I am struggling with; it seems to only like long slow notes, but I've got a Minitaur for that! Having said that, I was most amused by one of the reviewers on Amazon who gave it one star simply because, by his own admission, he was too lazy to work out how to use it properly! Main problem I had is that it doesn't latch and the sound dies when the note decays below a certain level. I'm not sure if that was fixable if you dug into the settings via the software? You might be able to get somewhere near it with the Markbass SS... I think there might be some kind of ring modulation on the recording though, which the SS doesn't have. YouMa Posted October 19, 2017 Share Posted October 19, 2017 If you are going to be playing a lot of stuff like this it might be worth going midi with a roland gr20 and pickup mine was great both with hardware and software.A decent synth pedal will cost about the same but will be sh*t in comparrason.
