Clarky
Hi, I just had a Fender tort scratchplate put on my Jazz bass a couple of weeks ago by the Bass Cellar to replace an ill-fitting after-market scratchplate - they took it off a Fender Jazz they had on display and it certainly looks as new with no scatches or divots. Thing is I have since acquired a vintage-looking celluloid tort scratchplate from WD (less yellow in it, deeper brown coloured), hence this is surplus to requirements. They retail for about £39.50 plus postage (eg at Absolute Musical Solutions), so how's about £20 posted (edit: was £30)? The pic below is not of mine but it is identical to this (ie, it has the screw holes there for the pickup cover and a thumb rest a la vintage 62 reissue).
