knoxy26 Posted October 14, 2017 Posted October 14, 2017 Hey, Just wondering if anyone knows of any cool ways to get your bass to sound more like a synth in a DAW using effects, filters ect? Cheers Matt Quote
project_c Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 There's a million ways to do that, any particular sound you're after? Quote

project_c Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 Try this: Pitch shift down an octave, mix 100% - add mild distortion - auto filter plugin (mess about with cutoff & resonance, try low pass or band pass filters) - add chorus - add compression - add a bit of delay. Quote
ambient Posted October 15, 2017 Posted October 15, 2017 Reverb, modulation effects, delay, some mild distortion and use an ebow. Quote
