paddy109
Is there a relatively cheap way of playing my bass through my iPad mini and accessing my Spotify library allowing silent bass practice. I do have a Vox plug in but the sound seems pretty poor on this.
Tvrtastic
Define cheap? Secondhand Apogee Jam in gumtee for about £40? Then you have a massive choice of iPad apps and garage band with cheap or free amp models.
paddy109
Cheap (for me) = no more than £50. Do most of these apps allow access to your music library?
Tvrtastic
Ampkit certainly does. Not 100% on GarageBand I’ll test it tomorrow. but for me Ampkit sounds better so that’s the one I use when I don’t want to scare the neighbors. So you can just minimize the amp modelling app whilst still monitoring the audio and open up your music library to access songs you want to practice. I use a very old iRig and this is the way I practice with a drum machine app/metronome app Edited October 17, 2017 by Sammers

Play through GB with Spotify running at the same time all on iPhone. Perfect for nights away from home.
