Skybone
If, like me, you were a fan of Thrash Metal in the mid-late 80's, then you'll be well aware of Hellhammer & Celtic Frost. I particularly loved the first few albums from Celtic Frost & it was an epic introduction into the darker reaches of metal, but importantly, they avoided all the clichés of the satanic imagery that a lot of the metal bands of the era were reknown for. Martin, for me personally, was something of an inspiration, his playing was tight, and "on the mark" for the intense music that they were producing. Like Geezer Butler, they didn't need a second guitarist with Martins playing filling the gaps. 50 is no age, RIP Martin.
