Jonse
Wondered if anybody knew where I could get my hands on a set? Can't seem to find evidence of any online anywhere. I've tried a set of saddles from a P bass and of course they're too wide for the bridge/neck. Of course whether they make any sonic difference is up for debate but I just love the look. Thanks for any help in advance.
yorks5stringer
Just had a similar type of issue as I swapped out a non-standard 4 saddle bridge for a Vintage 2 saddle variety on my Tele Bass. Saddle spacing is a bit wider and strings no longer go over the pole pieces of my non standard bridge humbucker.... Anyway, back to your issue, this link is from an old Mustang query on BC: http://www.guitarpartsresource.com/middle_bass.htm. Don't know it will help? Jonse
Just discovered that thanks, although it doesn't appear they have what I'm searching for. Perhaps I'll drop them an emails. Cheers
ikay
I think your best bet is going be to file some standard brass saddles down to size to get the string spacing you need.
Jonse
Had considered that, the P bass ones aren't far off. May be more effort that it's worth to be honest.
