TheGreek
So I've been building a pedal board (again) which will include a Loop station so that I can loop riffs which I can then play and loop over. My board currently includes the following: Loop1

Chorus
Compressor
Loop2

Synth
Envelope Filter
Loop3

Empty
The output then passes through a Behringer BD121 modeller on to the amp. The question is: where do I add the Loop Station and are the pedals in the right order? Sorry, for some reason the diagram shrunk in being added to the post. Edited October 25, 2017 by TheGreek
elephantgrey
For the pedal order, just spend a while trying out different orders/combinations to see what sounds best. This is also a great way to get to know your pedals better (how they/their controls react to different situations etc.). As for the looper, I would suggest either having it at the end of the chain, so you can record loops with different effects on them (this helps to differentiate different parts from eachother). Or at the start of the chain, so that you can record a loop, and then add/remove/tweak the effects on that loop to changing sound over the course of a section/song. I use 2 loopers, one "master" looper at the end of my chain that I record longer, layered loops over 3 phrases (well I usually have 1 phrase that runs throughout the song, and alternate the other two for verse/chorus. Depending on the song of course). I then have a second (single phrase) looper that I use at the start of my chain that I use to record shorter loops that I then apply different effects to before (usually) capturing on my "master" looper. I also sync the two loopers using midi so their loops start and stop in sync. Tldr: play about with effects orders, generally place looper at the end unless you want to mess about with effect on a recorded loop.
