King Tut Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 (edited) Here is a Squier Vintage Modified Jazz - fretted - with lovely grain on both the body and headstock. This is pretty much unblemished, apart from a scratch on the neckplate. she's a lovely player and sounds great. It's a heavy bass, due to the (two piece) maple body, so if that's an issue for you, then give it a miss. Again, it's £175 collected from Milton Keynes, with the Badass bridge shown, and the original but not the straplocks, or £150 with the original bridge refitted. Rowbee Posted November 9, 2008 Posted November 9, 2008 Have a bump on me, these instruments are great and tremendous value. I find it curious that you say it's heavy though, as mine feels very lightweight - maybe it's relative.
King Tut Posted November 9, 2008 Author Posted November 9, 2008 Got to be honest mate - mine's heavy. it doesn't bother me and it's not the reason I'm selling - I've gigged it a few times, including a 90 minute set with no probs, but having said that, years of back trouble have resulted in lots of core body exercises, so I'm relatively fit for an oldish bloke - apart from the liver heh heh! It balances well and I'm only selling due to possible domestic upheavles! (is that spelt correctly??) Thanks for the bump my friend.

RyMed Posted November 14, 2008 Posted November 14, 2008 Nice looking bass, if I had some spare cash I'd have it.
