Dug out Universal Juveniles yesterday and played it twice then once again today. Cracking album and their last I believe. Anyone else like 'em?

One of my favourite bands ever and blessed with a couple of outstanding bassists in Mike Tilka and Dave Myles. All their albums have just been reissued in a boxed set with some rare stuff thrown in. Not cheap (thanks Brexit!) but it looks gorgeous. CD and Vinyl. All their albums are excellent and if you're a fan of rock and roll that dips towards the left field, you'll love 'em. There are some great live recordings kicking about too, if you know where to look (cough cough...)

Saw them support Rush on the Hemispheres tour and thought they were superb.

Hemispheres tour was where i first saw them. Bassist was oustanding and a pure showman.
Fantastic songs and have to be up there with best support band i've ever seen.
That was a fantastic night.
Bought the album the following day.

I bought 'A Million Vacations, but I think the only reason I did was because of their association with Rush. (Much like the saddoes I recall seeing at Kiss shows wearing Diana Ross and Cher t-shirts.)

An oft overlooked guitarist in Mr Mitchell. Was a bit surprised how Zappa-ish some of their stuff was when I finally got round to tracking their albums down.

Massive fan of MW and Kim Mitchell. There is a transcription of the bass part to 'lemon wedge' off his Itch cd on here somewhere.
