Donnyboy
I've got a Behringer Ultrabass BXL3000 (Ithink) . It had an intermittent fault that now become permanent- ie I can't get any sound out of it at all. Previously it would cut out but come back on again , and it worked when I bought it!! ( second hand). And, no, I didn't get some magic beans with it The lights come on and that looks nice. I'd bought it cheap thinking it'd be a quick /cheap fix & I'd have a fairly decent combo for farting about with or giving to my nephew who is wanting to learn a bit of bass. I can't find anywhere local that can fix/have a look at it. Anyone got any suggestions ?
MB1
MB1. Give it away! Give it away... Now! Sorry (RHCP moment) Think you've answered your own question there.... Could cost as much as the combo to get it fixed? Providing you can find someone to fix it in your area having to ship plus your repair bill would probably be nearer a new combo ? casapete
This ^^^^ Sell it for spares maybe, and spend the dosh on something better off here.
Donnyboy
Update ... The owner of the rehearsal rooms we use does a bit of repair work and offered to have a look. Apparently there was a dodgy /eroded fuse, now replaced, and and seems to have sorted things out. It cost me £10 though!
