Lucky enough to play mine!

Gorgeous finish on that WAL.
Think its one of the nicest i've seen.

Very nice. I could go for one of those if they weren't so expensive. Hard to justify these days.

This. And only this. My dream bass. Slab Precision.

Nice. I've had GAS for one of these since... well, 1966 basically. :D

Hmm, that Maruszczyk looks a lot like the (unidentified) bass which appears in a couple of the photos in this piece about the 1980's punk scene in Hungary!

That is... striking. I was very impressed with a Euro4 I had a while back and wish I had kept it. Spector GAS!!

For me my Spector NS-5XL is the closest thing to a perfect bass....

I'm lucky enough to own mine already.

I had been lusting after a Gus since I first saw the prototypes sometime in the 80s, and back then they weren't even making basses. I decided that if I found myself with enough disposable cash I'd treat myself to one. Now I have 3 (and a G1 Guitar). At some point I would like to swap the 4-string fretless for a 5-string version, but for now these are fine!

I would rather like a Ritter R8.
Although for gigging sometimes I'd like something that plays & sounds Ritter-ish but has a more traditional look. I have no idea what that would be though.

He had the guitar version which he apparently played at least once.

He had a bass on order, but he died before it was completed.

I would love a Ken Smith Black Tiger 5. Played one once and it was the most luxurious bass I've ever played, just perfection! This one was apparently at Bass Direct

A late 80s 2EQ Stingray, Honeyburst, maple neck with a light flame. Still miss my 88 Black/Maple Ray (Paul - if you ever want to sell let me know?) but love Honeyburst. Just ahead of a heavily beaten up early 60s Sunburst P bass (Martyn Casey from the Bad Seeds owns my dream P)

This for me - custom shop '64 - neck and tones are exactly to my taste, as is the colour :). I'm trying not to look at the Ken Smith above as 5-string GAS is the last thing I need!
