VinceF Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 Hi guys! After selling the JP Zia 7 Headless, I'm furthering my sellout, to make place for the incoming one as soon as I sold this one out! One of the best bass i've played, very nice luthiery, the quality is outta standards. Plays nice, sounds incredibly well for an only passive bass, it's really crazy that sound, like an active one. The fanned fret system is not a problem, you're used pretty quickly of it. Specs : Afterburner S/N-3827 - Alder body - Flamed maple top, natural finish - Maple neck - Wenge fingerboard - 24 frets, sclae 37" to 34" - Hipshot tuning machines - Custom Dingwall bridge, manufactured by Hipshot - Dingwall Pickups FD-3 splitcoil - Passive electronic : volume, 4 positions switch (Bridge PU, Serial, Parallel, Neck PU), tone and medium switch - Neutrik jack output The sound is really incredible, just hear the souondclips made by my friend OwO! Pics : I'd like 2300€-£1880 + shipping paid by the buyer. I'm delivering anywhere in the Paris area. Sold with a hard shell case "freedom" made by SKB, a set of Dingwall strings and the required tools to set the bass. If you have additional questions, feel free to PM. Vince
d-basser Posted November 10, 2008 Posted November 10, 2008 I have the six string version of this and I think these are some of the most fantastic basses to grace this planet. you have over priced it though, they are about £1650 new from the gallery. sorry to screw with your sale but what ever price anyone pays for this they will not be disappointed, nothing punches like a 37" low B!
VinceF Posted November 11, 2008 Author Posted November 11, 2008 Overpriced for UK I might agree, but for France, that's the right way to go considering the price for new Dings. Bye Vince
d-basser Posted November 11, 2008 Posted November 11, 2008 oh I quite understand I just wanted to give you a heads up on the pricing situation over here. Again I must say, lovely bass!
