SpondonBassed
Welcome back Scotty. As a special favour to you on your return BC has thoughtfully re-birthed itself and levelled the playing field. You needn't feel that you are the only one learning the site anew! For my own information; do they do grading with TAB as the reading medium?
ScOtTy83
The grade books have musical notation and tab. As part of the technical teaching you have an option in the exam to do either sight reading or improvisation. I have been choosing the latter, but now have a good understanding of sight reading. Thats not to say if someone put sheet music in front of me and said 10mins in time i wouldn't "brick it!!!"
Marc S
Welcome back Scotty Before the days of BC - I had a 20+ year absence from playing bass! I'm so glad I started playing again.... what was I thinking? EDIT: Well done on the grading too btw Edited November 15, 2017 by Marc S

I was only joking when I asked because of the recurring debates (that you have been spared for the last couple of years) re: Notation vs TAB. Thanks for the reply however. It is good news. I would not have assumed that was the case but it may be worth my revisiting the idea of getting qualified. Well, almost.
