I often recall it as my "summer job". I also recall the utter, utter humiliation of having to play Engelbert Humperdink's "Ten Guitars". I'm still reminded of it to this day. Shoot me now. :-D The working mans social club gig. We pretend we do not know it. It waits patiently. It knows we will come. Eventually. And it claims us in the end. The shame. The despair. I've done a few of these now over the last 5 years. Not really the scene I imagined when buying my first bass at 14 ..
