New artist announced: Mo Foster!

I saw that on Twitter last night, I might go again after a few years of not bothering :)

Too late. I bought my weekend ticket yesterday!

Oh no!

Make sure you swing by and say hi though :)

We're thinking up ideas for our stand as we speak

Will do, timing was never a strong point, despite playing bass! :D

I just realised I still have to find a place to stay for a few days round that weekend. Anyone with a brilliant tip for cheap? Airbnb is doable but I stayed in a hostel at the Thames two years ago that is fully booked already which was actually cheaper than an Airbnb bed.

I want to go, but the LBGS site's schedule seems up the wall. There doesn't seem to be anyone on the main stage on Sunday, there are no dates for the masterclass stage and one of the artists will be going backwards in time for their performance. I emailed the organisers a couple of days ago for clarification, but no reply as yet.

I see Jah Wobble is signed up. As much as I enjoyed his slot last time, i would have preferred someone different as it was only a couple years ago. I am feeling a little underwhelmed by the artists so far.

Mo Foster is a good 'un; I saw him with Jeff Beck on the There & Back tour; met them after the gig!

I saw that tour too, at the Hammersmith; Mo broke a string. One the best gigs I’ve ever seen.

Cool - it was Manchester Apollo for me.

OK, I'm going to go on the Saturday, despite not receiving any confirmation from the organisers as to who's appearing when (great service, not!) and I've 'purchased' my discount voucher code, but I can't see where to apply it on the ticket order page. Can anyone help a simple soul find where to input the code (£4 is £4 after all)?

It says 'Enter Promotional Code' in the box :)

See you there!

For those travelling from Herts it's a four stop journey from Hemel Hempstead (Saturday only) - much easier than going from Cockfosters on the Tube. Lozz, Sibob and I usually travel up at around 10ish. You're welcome to join us.
