papaya
Hi, Up for sale my Lakland 55-02, made in Korea (2005). Bartolini USA pickups and preamp. Original nut was replaced to brass by a local luthier. It has a tortoise pickguard but I have converted it to black using a sticker. There are 3 extra holes on the body (as far as I know a former owner installed a ramp) but they are not visible because they are covered by the pickguard. Otherwise some minor signs of use but nothing serious (for further pics please PM me). There is another custom made pickguard (ash with transparent black satin finish)... looks so cool For details please check the specs on Lakland's website: http://www.lakland.com/55-02.htm PS.: shipping in EU is included. Thanks for looking, Joni Edited December 13, 2017 by papaya

MoJoKe
I've been using one of these as my main gigging bass for years now. I've had 5 different Laklands, including two deluxe 55-02's, but my natural ash one has always been a keeper Great basses, GLWTS!
bassmayhem
This is a real beauty; it even looks good with the pickguard. I've had a sunburst one, also have a fretless. And a 55-04 DeLuxe. The fretless 55-02 is the favourite of them... GLWTS!

I had a 55-02 Deluxe which had been converted to fretless with a birdseye maple fingerboard. it was a gorgeous bass, but I fell on hard times a couple of years ago, and had to sell it to pay some bills. I would love to replace it again, but for the timebeing my squier jazz conversion will have to do!!
papaya
Thank you Guys! Yes, great basses. Comfortable neck, tight B string, good balance, so many variation of tones, etc. But I have decided to keep my Lakland DJ5 only so this one has to go...
