Great shame. The engine behind AC/DC. Saw them in 73 and while Angus and Bon were the icing on the cake, Malcolm was the foundation. RIP.

37 years back I was watching TOTP and they introduced this band I'd heard of at school but didn't know...a little ditty called "Rock 'n' Roll Ain't Noise Pollution".. I started to think maybe this metal stuff is worth investigating..RIP sir

My favourite story about Angus and Malcom was that in the early days when they didn’t have much cash, they had a Gibson SG with a Gretsch pickup for Malc if he bust a string and a Gibson pickup if Angus did.

What an awesome player and what an ace band they were back in the day. 

That live version of Highway sounds really really loud too! Cool. 

He had the best job in the world, writing AC/DC riffs and then standing in front of a stack of Marshalls, next to Phil Rudd, and flooring it.
