redbandit599 Posted November 19, 2017 Posted November 19, 2017 Hi BC I like the threads where we post up stuff we like - it's a great way to find new music and bands etc. I also like stuff that gets the blood pumping faster. I'm into rock and metal - which is obviously mostly meant to be pretty exciting stuff, but there's always those tracks that make you that bit more breathless than others, just listening to them. The ones that you shout yourself hoarse to in the car when no-ones listening and then realise that, yes, you really had better slow down.. I've got loads - lets see what you've got - any genre - just make it really primal, exciting stuff (someone else can start a cerebrally exciting thread..) Here's one of mine - enjoy! 2 Quote

redbandit599 Posted November 19, 2017 Author Posted November 19, 2017 That's the bit - it's all good, but that bit just sends me over the top with bad shouty vocals :-) Quote
Mudpup Posted November 19, 2017 Posted November 19, 2017 Heres my current one - starts slow and moody and builds to a monster geetar solo...... 2 Quote

musicbassman Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 Well, I'm not usually a big fan of rock, but what about this from Cardiacs? If you're not familiar with this, then the legendary 'impossible to play' guitar solo is at 3.24. Quote
KingPrawn Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 I love this band. In fact, I. love most of what Southern Lord release. 1 Quote
krispn Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 Waterbouys Room to Roam live version of Raggle Taggle Gypsy. The bass part is great and creates a lovely sense of movement. It’s a lot of fun to play. I’ll try and find a video but the live version is on Spotify. Quote
Barking Spiders Posted November 20, 2017 Posted November 20, 2017 Even though I mostly listen to funk and electronica I can't get enuff of Mastodon, Lamb of God, Rammstein, Sepultura (Max Cavalera era) and the Deftones. Mastodon's 'Once more round the sun ' and Leviathan are barely out of my in car CD player in particular 1 Quote
