Heeheehee Even a strap isn't wide enough to deliver the full fat chequer board motif successfully though. I suppose it's in line for a pick guard if you want to be completist about it. I prefer Fender type basses painted and chequered in some way but I prefer non-Fender natural wood or veneered like my ibanez and Tropia bass build...........
