Fortunate Son (Foos/John Fogrty version)

Help, please! I'm trying to work out the bass for the section after the second (repeated) chorus, just before the guitar solo. It sounds like a key change (and my guitarist is adamant it is), but the guitar doesn't change key.

Anyone any ideas what the bassist is playing, please?

At the start of the solo,

Two bars of A#, Am, D#, A# then two of  G, F, C, G

According to a post elsewhere from a few years ago.......Hope it helps. Sounds right to me

The bit before that sounds like 4 bars of G, then G, Bb, C , G.

The bit after that goes back to G,D,C,G until the last time which is G,Bb,C than G to finish.

That's how it sounds to me, but then.....(looking for a deaf emoji)

Sounds to me like:

Pedal on the G

End with G Bb C G

SOLO:

Bb G# Eb

STEP DOWN:

Bb > G# > G

REST OF THE SOLO:

G F C

BACK INTO CHORUS
