Quatschmacher Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 I’ve just got a Subterranea and it is excellent apart from the fact that it is incredibly sensitive to even the slightest string vibration, which causes it to fizzle audibly. I’d like to experiment in seeing if I can tame it with a gate but not at the expense of tracking. Does anyone have any good suggestions of what to use? I’m aware of the Boss noise suppressor and whatever the Electro Harmonix pedal is called. Any others I should look at? Quote

CameronJ Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 Try the TC Sentry. Looks to me to be one of the best and most customisable noise gates out there for not much money. 1 Quote
Cuzzie Posted November 23, 2017 Posted November 23, 2017 @Quatschmacher not opposed to that, one of many options of which noise cancelling can help, but good call Quote
Quatschmacher Posted November 29, 2017 Author Posted November 29, 2017 I bagged an as-new Sentry on eBay. Thanks for the tip, @CameronJ! 1 Quote
