Over here had we tried to refuse the tip it would have been considered insulting. Well, they are different in that we don't tip, but are cultures are not so dissimilar that if someone wanted to give me £100 tip I would be refusing it
FinnDave
I'd gratefully accept any tip I was offered! I think we've had a few of a tenner, never more though.
Muzz
£350 a man, same place we played last year (a hotel/function place) - they re-booked us on the night last time. We finish at 11:30 (at the DJ's request) last year I was home before twelve.
steantval
Why go out and play on NYE and enjoy yourself when you could stay in and watch Jools Hollands NYE show ???

Dave, on a good night tips can mean an extra $25.00 bucks per man. Blue

I get a cheap $12.00 haircut once a month. I found out from a friend who is in the business, even for a 12 buck cut they get pissed if you don't tip at least $5.00. But I get it, their hourley wage is a complete joke. Blue Edited November 25, 2017 by Bluewine Correction
