Well, they are different in that we don't tip, but are cultures are not so dissimilar that if someone wanted to give me £100 tip I would be refusing it :D

£350 a man, same place we played last year (a hotel/function place) - they re-booked us on the night last time. We finish at 11:30 (at the DJ's request) last year I was home before twelve. ^_^

Cool as I mentioned our NYE gig hours are great, 2:00-7:00. I get home by 8:30.

Yeah it's weird. I get a  cheap $12.00 haircut once a month. I found out from a friend who is in the business, even for a 12 buck cut they get pissed if you don't tip at least $5.00.

But I get it, their hourley wage is a complete joke.
