silverfoxnik Posted November 25, 2017 Posted November 25, 2017 Great little amps these... I used to use one regularly with an SWR Triad, a Lakland DJ5 and a Fender RBV for gigging and it was really good! The inbuilt, push-button e.q. setting for 5 string basses was particularly useful as was the 'contour' control and overall, it had a really powerful, punchy and crisp sound to it! Pretty lightweight IIRC, so quite easy on the back too. ☺ Anyway, before I get overly nostalgic, GLWTS.
dmccombe7 Posted November 26, 2017 Posted November 26, 2017 I'm using the 1001RBii with my Berg HT322 cab and its turned out to be a really nice match. Great price for a very versatile amp. GLWTS Dave
Hnz Posted November 28, 2017 Posted November 28, 2017 Hi Bagsieblue, how old is the amp please? It is the first 700 model, isn't it?
bagsieblue Posted November 28, 2017 Author Posted November 28, 2017 I'm not sure of age but yes it is the Mark 1 amp.
ianrendall Posted January 22, 2018 Posted January 22, 2018 Just for my own clarification, can these be used as a ‘normal’ amp rather than bi-amp?
