Guns N Roses - the band that really got me listening to music as a 12 year old kid!  Then in my early the twenties the band that got me wanting to learn guitar!  Now I play bass and play through a GK rig; I'd be lying if I didn't confess that I first looked at GK because Duff (and Flea) played through them.

Music,looks,attitude,stubborn,creative,Bass sound of course.Just had a massive impact on 15 year old me.Bought a Kay bass and taught myself to play

I think 'my band' felt like my band because, despite my relentless enthusiasm and recommendation to everyone I knew to listen to the first album, nobody else got it.

It came out in 1989 when I was 15 and it still reaches the parts other albums have never reached.
