Happy Jack
I've used a GrammaPad for years now, whenever I play a wooden stage or (in some pubs) on bare floorboards. No staining or crumbling issues at all, but the glue used to hold the larger foam pads has failed on one side. No complaints.
Bigjas
I've been gigging a Gramma Pad nearly every weekend for the last 4 years. It still looks like new. Really impressed with it.
Jus Lukin
Thanks, good to know! Does anyone know how much the pad weighs? I can't seem to find reference anywhere!
wateroftyne
Mine's a number of years old, and still in good nick. Weight? Umm... light. Dunno if that helps.

chris_b
My Gramma (2 or 3 lbs) is 5 or 6 years old and still in perfect condition. I use it on most gigs and still keep it in the original (now very gaffered) cardboard box.
rmshaw37
I had my first experience with my new gramma pad today in a practice room that I’ve been fighting the floor for years (suspended wooden floor) well I didn’t realise it’d work as well as it did. Had to turn the low end down from its usual spot, and any eq adjustment I made was easy to hear. Stunned!

Stingray5
Another +1 for the Gramma Pad here. Certainly weight has never been an issue and although I don't take it out on every gig, it still seems the same as when I first bought it a few years ago. BigRedX
I ditched my Gramma Pad as I found it made little difference to the sound, and made my bass rig extra wobbly on uneven stages.

Part of the reason I use it whether the stage is hollow or not is to stabilise mine on uneven stages 😄
BigRedX
5 minutes ago, wateroftyne said: Part of the reason I use it whether the stage is hollow or not is to stabilise mine on uneven stages 😄 One of the venues where The Terrortones used to play regularly had a loose board on stage that co-incided with the position of the kick drum pedal and any backline. The stage was far too small to allow any positioning that didn't make this board a problem. Without the Gramma Pad the effect on the bass rig was not ideal. With it, the motion was positively alarming! Edited June 3, 2019 by BigRedX
mep
2 venues we play at have hollow timber floors so I use mine at these to help reduce the on stage booming.
