Louisss8sss Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 Soo in the next month or so me and my band are going to do a little photo shoot and will need a cheap-cheap (under £50) bass as it will get wet, if it could look like a jazz bass and be white would be the best but anything will do, it docent even need to work. Any recommendation ??? Quote

Les Posted November 30, 2017 Posted November 30, 2017 can't believe it. I stripped then chucked a cheap and nasty white p-bass away about 2 months ago cos it was getting under my feet Quote
bazzbass Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 every time I see a film clip where instruments get wet I think what a bunch of wasteful ar$eholes! glad you're using a 'blank", good luck and post the vid when ready Quote
Yank Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 So..... the photo shoot is in a Roman bath or you're in the middle of a wet t-shirt contest? Quote

SH73 Posted December 2, 2017 Posted December 2, 2017 If it's in a car wash. Then it gets dried off and polished.. Quote

stingrayPete1977 Posted December 3, 2017 Posted December 3, 2017 There must be a whole raft of instruments aimed at those who are less financially buoyant, maybe try and hook something on line or the net? 1 Quote

SpondonBassed Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 @Louisss8sss I am assuming that the bass offered here yesterday for £50 was moved to the For Sale section. Please let us know how you go on? I'd love to know if it plays after it's dried out. Quote
prowla Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 Apologies for my previous reply; my £50 banger is now legally up for sale! Quote
Cato Posted December 4, 2017 Posted December 4, 2017 I've often seen people on here refer to Wals as having 'Boat Paddle' headstocks. I'm surw some kind BC member will happily lend you theirs if it will help you navigate your photo shoot. Quote
