Sold: 2012 Music Man Stingray Classic 4 String £1100

For Sale is a 2011/12 Music Man Classic Stingray 2eq 4 String including the original case. It's in a lovely Tobaccoburst with a gorgeous maple neck (the figuring is wonderful). 

Unlike many of these Classic Rays, this one weighs around 9lbs, so is very comfortable. It's been string with a new set of TI flats and has a lovely low action. 

Condition is very good but there is a paint chip in between the top horn and the pickguard (pictured with better Ines to follow) and there is a very small chip on the back of the neck around the 10th fret. The chrome has been given a good clean since the photos were taken and it has come up really well. There are a few polishing swirls made look a lot worse by my camera flash.

You can get Modulus tones out of, play jazz on it, dub, reggae and obviously get mean and funky........

My favourite colour combo for a Stingray.  Lovely, and a novel way of stringing the D string with the blue silk strings.

There shouldn't be a problem selling this.

This is a great bass,I’ve been using mine the last two nights with a funk/soul band,amazing sound & feel! Have a bump on me. Horse is a great guy to deal with!

I'm not usually a fan of Stingray basses but have to say that is pretty stunning.

If i was buying one that would be it. Quite rare as i've never seen that coour before.

Easily one of the best basses out there (for so many types of music) IMHO. I sold mine in a moment of madness and would love to have it back (shuffles off to weep tears of regret)...
