john_the_bass
Seen a nice used Stingray fretless 5 with piezo, looks a bit on the pricey side IMO - any thoughts on the going rate for one at the minute? Value is obviously subjective, but I've not thought of buying one before and I know it's different to a 4 string fretted 3EQ, but in terms of the extra value - what do you think? Hamster
The market is still low, although maybe picking up a little. Not a lot of fretless Stingray 5's about, but would hazard a guess at around £800, maybe £875 if very new and immaculate or with mojo factor. john_the_bass
I thought that the £1200 figure I'd seen looked a bit high then!!
Delberthot
A standard SR5 fretted would have gone for £850 in good condition in the past. Fretlesss generally go for a bit less due to not as much demand but would go for slightly higher due to having the piezo option so I think anywhere from £800 to £900 given the state of things just now. I'm sure i could find a store doing a brand new one for £1200 if I looked. Edited November 13, 2008 by Delberthot
