I've looked at it a couple of times. Would match my Stingray. Never had a P before though and not sure if I want one.

Someone will have it at that price I'm sure.
Is it an export or non-export ?
and what year is it?
And where are you located?

Hi, then I bought it in April 2008 from Malcom at http://www.guitaremporium.co.uk/, i waited 2 weeks because he was in Japan.
But i have no idea wabout export or non-export stuff, sorry.
The bass from the serial code should be built in the 2005.
It's 100% new because i didn't use it too much and to be honest I understood that i love the Jazz Bass and Stingray sound more then the Pbass.

I live in Stockport (Manchester)
PM me if you want know more info, no problem at all.

Thanks

Have a bump on me

Just to say I bought my Miller Jazz off Jazzbassmm a while back , very good condition, so I'm sure this Precision would be top notch !

Nice to see you finally got your hands on a Music Man by the way

All the best with the sale

A few questions that will help folk work out what it is:
Does it have a strap holder on the back of the headstock?
Do the bits in the bridge the strings sit on have spiral threads like a screw or are they smooth?
What does it say on the headstock?is the fender in gold colour or black? 'Fender' with 'Precision bass' underneath or after?

Should be able to guess which model it is with all that!

Hiyah

Malcom says he may be able to determine if this is an export or non export from the serial number ..
Could you share that with us as well?
Thanks
i have a feeling its non-export, do they export their reissue basses at all?
This was brought in by Malcolm of Guitar Emporium so it could be either.

i thought they had different ranges for export and non-export. I thought the reissues of various vintages like this were non-export. Be interesting to know, I'm fairly certain I have a non-export one.

A Peavey millenium and a Warwick Rockbass Corvette i bought it on impulse but didn't get on with it!

I should have really saved the extra and got the Fender i had set my heart on rather than rushing in and
buying the Warwick!
