Lacertus
For sale is this beautiful Korean made Lakland Skyline Darryl Jones 4-string (DJ4). She's finished in a black sparkle finish, and fitted with a tort pickguard (original white guard is included). Maple neck and fretboard with white blocks and binding. Weight: 4250g. She has the Lakland / Hanson pickups (2006-07 transition). Here's the kicker: The bass is currently wired as a passive bass, however, the John East DJ-RETRO pre-amp is included in the deal. The new owner can easily install the pre-amp with a minimum of soldering and make this a active beast! She's located in the Netherlands, shipping is no problem! Asking price 880GBP -> 870GBP --> 860GBP --> 850GBP -> 840GBP -> -> 799GBP! Edited August 7, 2018 by Lacertus

Lacertus
Thanks krispn! Indeed a fantastic breed of jazz basses! Max76: I'm thinking 880GBP, but I'm open to offers!
krispn
Price minus the DJ Retro?
Lacertus
I greatly prefer a sale of both the DJ4 and the pre-amp together. I think the asking price of the bass + pre-amp is more than reasonable, and the new owner is obviously free to resell the DJ-RETRO himself. All that being said, I'm open to offers via PM. Lacertus
Here's a picture with a more modest lighting regime... It shows the real color a lot better.

White Cloud
The best (affordable) jazz basses available in my opinion. A significant improvement on the original design. Surprised this is still here.

aguacollas
Great bass, I have among others an indonesian Lakland 44-02 which I love, and the korean ones are supposed to be even better and closer to the american ones. I too think this is an improvement over the original design. GLWTS

John T
When you say "currently wired as a passive bass" i'm assuming this is a standard passive DJ4, right?..... Or am i missing something?
Lacertus
Yes, it standard is a passive bass. The John East DJ-RETRO pre-amp is included, so the DJ4 can easily be set-up as an active one.
