I'm in no way an expert in matters concerning Fenders but there are some issues even I'm not sure about. Check out the headstock transfers:

That ' jazz bass ' decal was applied by a Bonobo. Crooked as hell, just like the seller

Further reading of the listing shows a HB-esque fake tort guard and odd proportioning. 

 

Of greater concern is the fact that here are bids on the thing.  Some poor people may be about to be fleeced...

Check the neck pickup.  Looks like its just the cover. There's no poles showing.   This is one oddball bass

The bridge is also wrong, Fender don't use screws at the front of the bridge, it's local to me maybe I could snap up a right bargain, maybe not though!

Just took a look at it, and it has been "removed"
This listing was ended by the seller because there was an error in the listing. 

Yes, like it wasn't even new & unused - let alone not a Fender....

It has been re-listed now but as a non genuine fender.

Looks like a Thomann deco that has had the headstock re-shaped and a transfer applied. Think the cover has just popped off the actual pick-up.
