Rewiring a Yamaha BB1025...need diagram..Help !!

just bought this used and I would like to change to a Vol/Vol/Tone configuration...lots of wires in the box for a passive 2 pups bass..;looking for the wiring diagram but nowhere to find it ..;might need a help !!

Here's a wiring diagram for a Jazz Bass which is what you need. You might be better off junking everything and starting afresh with 3 new pots, capacitor and jack or contact Ki0gon of this parish who will knock you a solder free loom for you.

You mean de soldering the wires from the pick ups and redoing the all thing ?

And also I love CTS and switchcraft but cavity in the BB is not big enough they use mini Alpha pots ...

Don't desolder the wires at the pick up end but from the controls.

Correct, remove them from the existing pots/pre-amp whatever.  Leave a descent length of wire from the pickups.

Already suggested and if you are not confident of what you are doing, get John to do it for you. Make sure you specify mini-pots though if you don't have the room for standard ones.

Wow, that is an awesome find. I can delete a shed load of individual wiring diagrams and just use this. Thanks for sharing T-Bay

It is a very useful thing, I would happily buy a hard copy if one existed. I keep meaning to print a copy out and spiral bind it but never get around to it.
