BassBunny
Here's a wiring diagram for a Jazz Bass which is what you need. You might be better off junking everything and starting afresh with 3 new pots, capacitor and jack or contact Ki0gon of this parish who will knock you a solder free loom for you. funkydario
You mean de soldering the wires from the pick ups and redoing the all thing ?
funkydario
And also I love CTS and switchcraft but cavity in the BB is not big enough they use mini Alpha pots ...

Don't desolder the wires at the pick up end but from the controls.
JapanAxe
Why not get in touch with @KiOgon to discuss a pre-built loom?

Correct, remove them from the existing pots/pre-amp whatever. Leave a descent length of wire from the pickups. 6 hours ago, JapanAxe said: Why not get in touch with @KiOgon to discuss a pre-built loom? Already suggested and if you are not confident of what you are doing, get John to do it for you. Make sure you specify mini-pots though if you don't have the room for standard ones. T-Bay
This is a stunning resource for anyone into the electrics side of things: only in German but most of it is self explanatory and there is a German-English bit for the technical terms at the end.
T-Bay
It’s come up as a pic for some reason, but double click on it and you will get the full manual.

Wow, that is an awesome find. I can delete a shed load of individual wiring diagrams and just use this. Thanks for sharing T-Bay

Thanks for sharing T-Bay It is a very useful thing, I would happily buy a hard copy if one existed. I keep meaning to print a copy out and spiral bind it but never get around to it.
