A very rock list for the most part. 3 I hadn’t heard of, although I’m aware of the bands, which indicates a younger voting audience. As ever with these lists, nothing really to see here, move along and don’t waste your ire on it.

Likely the case. I found it quite telling in a very depressing way that all but two of the artists (Thundercat & that guitarist-with-a-bass out of Royal Blood) were people who had been around for decades already. So I guess there's not a whole lot of young & interesting platers making any kind of a mark.

These lists are so subjective.  'Best players...' says who?  It's not very encompassing; no Geddy, no Macca.  It's more populist than anything else...as I was running through it, I was wondering whether Adam Clayton would come up.  I wouldn't qualify Mike Kerr or the dude from QotSA inside anyone's top 17.
