Steff Posted December 16, 2017 Posted December 16, 2017 Hi guys, had this his in my old Jazz but I’ve restored it to original passive pre so I don’t need this one anymore. It’s a drop in replacement, no additional routing required (at least on my ‘76 Fender it didn’t). Battery fits in the cavity - again it did on my bass but it’s designed in such a way that should fit in any bass without need of drilling and digging the precious wood. Audere preamps, to my experience, are very transparent but provide the flexibility of having an onboard EQ. If you want to hear the real voice of your instrument, but with added neutral, non timber changing boost - that’s the pre for it. Based in West London but I travel for gigs or I would post if I have to. Thanks Stefan
