Am I the only one loving the Warwick LWA1000?

I have had it for a couple of years now. I had an Ashdown Little Giant, a Markbass F1, and an Augilar Tone hammer before it.

The Ashdown was a Joke!, more like a toy.

The Auguilar was ok, but I really didn't like it. Well built though!

The Markbass was good, but the Warwick is louder and I really like the layout of the controls better.

Love the mute switches!

I run it through a TKS 2128 cab. It has 2 12" and one 8" speakers. It's really really loud even when the volume knob is at 10 o'clock.

No one is talking about the LWA head, so maybe I got the only good one? ;)

Anyone?

I had the LWA1000 for around a year - it was a great little amp! the double input was a really handy feature, aux for quiet practice at home and the fact that it was super light also, cant fault them.

I have one as my running no 2 amp. Completely underrated. I play upright and BG and its perfect for smaller gigs when I need a small rig.

These are solid and very good amps and will outlast many of their more trendy rivals.

Ive just got one of these... my gigs are a mixture of upright bass and bass guitar, so 2 channels is perfect... at first I was worried that the input gain seemed on the quiet side but after comparing it to my Promethean I dont think it is.

Im hoping it will be loud enough with a Bug Baby II cab on its own but havent had chance to gig it yet.

The Lwa1000 does sound very natural with upright but it definetly needs a preamp , whereas the Promethean can get away without one.
