Hey folks.
Im after a looper and i'm wondering which one is the Basschatters' choice.
I'm not interested in the Boss RC-2 btw but if you have any experience with any of the others i'd appreciate your thoughts.
I should add i'm on a fairly limited budget,£150 max.

How about an Akai Headrush -great pedal and definitely within your budget (95 quid or so new and less secondhand!!!)

Loads of threads on this already if you search. Depends if you just wanna loop bass/guitars or mics/vocals as well.

If it's just guitars/basses then I recommend the EHX Stereo Memory Man with Hazarai but also check out the Line 6 DL4 and Akai Headrush. These all have cool delays as well as loopers.

If you want a mic input and more features such as savable patches and undo then check the Digitech Jamman which also has expandable memory and a USB port so you can upload loops to your computer easily or vice versa.

You can usually pick up a brand new RC20XL for about £150 on eBay ( I did ). I agree that the RC2 isn't great ( too many functions in one footswitch IMHO) but the RC20XL isn't bad at all.

I own the Boss RC-20XL. I've often toyed with the idea of selling. You can pick them up on ebay 2nd hand for around £110.

There's now the Line 6 JM4 modeller too
