and god only knows what wood it would be made of given the description that mentions a flame top veneer over an alder body when the photo im sure shows an ash of some description

The seller appears to be a chinese shop, everythings from there, including all the sort of stuff you'd see on aliexpress.

 

Maybe a language barrier, or its a bit like you trying to sell a washer dryer combo, and only knowing about 10% of the products information that people need to know.
