Help! Source Audio pedal

Hi All,

Whilst updating the software on my Source Audio After Shock pedal the updater software on the PC crashed and the installation was unfinished.  Now I have a paperweight that will power up and nothing else, the usb won't connect so I can't restart the process.

SA say unplug pedal, hold down tapswitch and plug back in the power, lights will flash and hard reset will be done.  Tried that and it doesn't work.

Any pearls of wisdom out there?
