He uses a six-pole pickup but why not as there are many basses with six-pole pickups - Fender Musicmaster, Fender Rascal, er ... can't think of any more.

No prizes but he could have picked a better pickup, the bridge seems about an inch too far up and to round it off he winds strings guitar style ensuring they ride high. When he plays along to Money the intonation immediately sounds off 🙉

On the plus side it is now, more or less a bass guitar, which it wasn't when he got hold of it.

No excuses for the beard though.

That's four mistakes.

Pickup selection inspired by He Who Must Not Be Named, didn't bother measuring to find out where to put the bridge (maybe he simply doesn't understand the theory, he certainly doesn't come across as knowledgeable), and he's crap at stringing. Typical guitarist, in fact.

He powder coated all the metalwork, so now he can't earth it. So he'll have buzzing earth problems.

Spraying under a tree will mean the body is sure to be covered in bits and rubbish.

Finally, he strings it like a guitar. May not be a major issue, but I wouldn't fit strings like that.

Horrible sound too, but he's happy.
