This one does look lovely. I have used a black Taiwanese one for the last fifteen years- and keep coming back to it whatever other basses have come and gone. A nice wine red Japanese example sold on eBay last week for £220.

My first "proper" bass was one of these, in that colour scheme. A real workhorse - back in the days before I even thought of backup basses that bass was my trusty companion for a good 4 years solid gigging, never a fault with it, could always be relied on. If I wasn`t doing a bit of common sense at present I`d be tempted for nostalgia reasons.

nice looking bass, and the Active/Passive options will cover any audio ground thats required of it. That active onbard EQ is a monster. Ive got one in a pedal board, and its probably the best active EQ ive come across.
