Pentode Posted December 29, 2017 Posted December 29, 2017 (edited) As part of the huge cull I'm having, the next for the chop is my Alembic F-1X. Works very much as it should with no pops, squeaks or burps and will look very nice indeed in anyone's rack. The on/off switch has been moved around to the front panel which I think makes things a little easier. The only downers are a bit of rack rash and two of the screws that hold the top on are missing, neither of which makes a jot of difference to the lovely tone of course. I'm looking for £400 which includes overnight delivery with UPS. Obligatory photo's - Cheers Grahame Edited March 26, 2018 by Pentode
Hellzero Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Has it been converted to our voltage, I mean 220~240 Volts ?
Pentode Posted December 30, 2017 Author Posted December 30, 2017 Hi Mr Zero, Yes, it runs on 220~240 volts - same as the UK ☺
three Posted December 30, 2017 Posted December 30, 2017 Lovely - these come-up very rarely - rather exotic and highly desirable for guitar or bass. The mod makes a lot of sense too. I’m not a valve fan (I use an SF2) but this is an excellent acquisition for somebody. A very realistic price too IMO
Pentode Posted December 30, 2017 Author Posted December 30, 2017 Thank you the kind comments. Speaking of valves, there's a Brimar ECC81 in this and it's smoooooth ☺
