Grassroots Bass identification please !!

Hi all & happy new year,  are any of you knowledgeable folks clued up on Grassroots basses?  as I've got it posted up for sale here, I really couldn't tell you which model, year & so forth, as I say I bought it on a whim to get into the 5 string world, a Bass player that I've spoken to many moons ago, said it's got an ebony fretboard & a very well made Bass, but what do I know !!! So any identification & help on this beast would be much appreciated.

There always used to loads of Grassroots basses in the Ishibashi U-Box.  I think they were something to do with ESP, the budget end of ESP (viz. Squier); beyond that I know very little.
