plectrums

does anyone know where i can get hold of plectrums with a cut out  (to assist grip )or can you  get punchs to create holes  as my grip is failing due to me being an old fart (no its arthiritus )

Not sure if you've thought of trying a 'finger-pick' as per the Jim Dunlop tortie ones that used to wrap around your thumb?

ive tried those but ive got big fat fingers and struggled to find the right size that fitted

Depending on thickness i use a standard paper holepunch to put holes in mine, ive also used a 8mm drill bit on thicker ones. Does a good job

I use a Stanley knife to score the surface of the tortex picks I use from time to time, and it gives a really secure feeling.

Yup, same for me.  Quite a heavy-duty hole punch though, as cheap ones will bend!
