£700

Good condition, cheap because of issue.

A previous owner has had the neck off at some stage. They have over tightened when putting it back on. This has caused a big lacquer crack.
I have gigged this bass many times, the issue is cosmetic.

I'm only selling as I'm going back to all passive basses. Would still happily gig this tomorrow night.
TRADES
Passive US Fenders, or possibly work out a deal on Magellan 800, Dark Glass 900, PUMA/EICH head.
Any trial in Wigan, feedback linked below
cheers,
Karl.

Hell's bells, page 6 in two days :o

I'm away at meetings in Sweden for 3 days. Hope I can find the ad when I get back xD

These are very versatile basses. I have a maple neck American Deluxe P bass and the range of tones on tap are enormous. No issues with battery life as it uses the 9v preamp.

Thanks John, lovely active Precision bass special Deluxe Series you have there!

Think I'm going to tie this bass to the back of the van, drag it up the M6 for an hour, call it Road Worn and slap a couple hundred extra quid on it xD

As I live in sunny West Wales I'm sure a quick 40 mile drag down the M4 junction 49 thro 30 will create a much more aggessive  ( rocklike) Road Worn finish. Welsh TARMAC adds so much more vibe! It's the coal dust effect.

And a final bump I think.

Been up two weeks, the initial flurry of interest has gone, probably time to just let the ad die now :).

Can only assume LACQUER crack has put people off as it really is (imo) an excellent price for one of these.

£650 collected from Wigan this weekend.

If it doesn't go I will remove & sell something else,

cheers,

Karl.
