NukeBass
Hey people, do any of you know where I could obtain a replacement 1.75"/45mm nut for a 50s P-bass (a brass one would be nice)? I'm drawing a blank on my google searches... 🙁
nilebodgers
Hmmmm... my first thought was to try Graphtec, but they only appear to do the 42mm P-bass type. You may need to get a tech to make one out of a bone blank (or brass stock).

I feared this might be the only answer but, hey, no harm in asking eh...

I suspect it would need to come from the US though, so a lot quicker just to get someone local with all the tools to make one for you. No. 8 Wire
The fender part no is fender 0994406000 Don't know of any UK stock but ordering from the US has been fine for me in the past. As long as you can get someone to post USPS it will be cheap. Probably cheaper than a UK agent.. if they stocked it.
