Fello Posted January 9, 2018 Posted January 9, 2018 (edited) Hi. Fender Squier Pro-Tone Precision Bass V for sale. 300£ ono The bass is in good condition, with some marks in the back of the body (please see pics). Crimson Red transparent finish, gold hardware , white shell pickguard, 2 special design pickups, and a rosewood neck with 19mm string spacing and 2" nut . The Pro Tone series was one of Fender's forays into up-scaling the Squier line of instruments and were produced in Korea 1996/1998. This Model was one of the platforms they introduced in that effort. One of the best features for me is the string spacing. Most of the 5-strings that Fender produced at that time had about a 15mm string spacing, so if you were used to the 18/19mm spacing on a regular Fender Precision Bass you had to change everything with your right hand technique to adjust to the narrow spacing. This bass has 19mm spacing and a flatter 9.5" fingerboard radius for a natural playing feel. It sounds very nice and it's comfortable to play. Buyer covers shipping cost. Probably around 30£ in the UK. Located in South East London. Cheers Edited January 9, 2018 by Fello
